We apologize for sending two updates in one week, but there’s so much going on that one April Newsletter couldn’t cover it all!
Thus we bring to you a Special Edition of our Newsletter for some especially exciting announcements! Below, you’ll find some details about our upcoming sponsorship from Panasonic as well as information on upcoming Earth Month activities taking place at Publika.

Panasonic: Official Technology Partner of the 7th Annual KLEFF
We are extremely pleased to announce that Panasonic has agreed to collaborate with KLEFF organizer, EcoKnights, as its 2014 Technology Partner in four areas: Anugerah Hijau 2014, EcoKNights in-house productions, Langkawi Eco Film Fest 2014, and, most notably, the 7th Annual KLEFF!
As the KLEFF Technology Partner, Panasonic will sponsor the prizes for Best Malaysian Documentary, Best Malaysian Short Film, and Best Malaysian Student awards. They will also co-organize both the Malaysian Film Maker’s Night and Film Making Workshop as well as provide audio and visual technology support throughout the festival weekend.
KLEFF organizers are very proud to collaborate with such an influential organization that is making clear efforts to support its community. We’re positive that the partnership will provide great support in developing the Malaysian community’s environmental communication efforts.

Earth Month Film Screenings and Activities at Publika
Monday and Tuesday Movies at Publika
As part of Publika’s ongoing efforts during Earth Month, the KLEFF will be screening environmental films every Monday and Tuesday evening until 29th April. All films will begin at 8:00PM at The Square in Publika.

MENGO Water Hunt
In further conjunction with Earth Month activities Malaysian Environmental NGO’s (MENGO) will be hosting a Water Hunt activity this Sunday, 13 April at Publika. The water themed “treasure hunt” will lead teams through a series of challenges in order to be deemed Water Hunt champions!
Registration starts at 6:30AM and the event will conclude with an awards ceremony at 12:00PM.
