Inspiring Sustainable Living
EcoKnights E-Newsletter, Vol. 6 - June 2016
Message from the President
It’s been a month of fasting and I am definitely excited to see so much emphasis in the media and also among government initiatives to remind Malaysians about reducing our food waste disposal and the need to use friendlier packaging. It’s a challenge for many of us to work on this habitual change to be more responsible consumers but it’s also a really small effort to start off with compared to the other more serious efforts that we need to be embarking on. Nevertheless, I hope we won’t stop at this effort and we need your support to continuously “walk the talk” and “practice what we preach”. This is a starting point, of which we need everyone’s joint forces, to make a transformational change in the country. If you’re keen to explore how you can get started with your community on making sustainable changes, we are always open to share some ideas and guide you through. The first step to embarking on a sustainable lifestyle is making connection. We’re here. And we’re looking forward to start a conversation with you.
