Hi Visitor,
Greetings from the Kuala Lumpur Eco-Film Festival!
There’s a lot to be done as the KLEFF gears up for its 7th year, and we want to bring you all of the latest information and updates for this year’s competition and event!
As a reminder, the 7th Annual KLEFF will be held at MAP Publika from October 17th – 19th 2014. For more information, log on to www.ecofilmfest.my
With the website launched and our Call for Entries Video Promo posted, the KLEFF team is now working on the other facets of the Festival that you’ve come to know and love.
The annual and ever popular KLEFF Community Screenings are back! We want to bring 2013’s Best Films in all six categories (documentary, short film, animation, etc.) to you and your community so that you can get a taste of what the KLEFF has to offer!
For any duration between one to two hours, KLEFF can bring these award-winning films right to your doorstep. Whether it’s in your office, college, or community, these films not only entertain, but also inform you of the pressing environmental issues that affect us all.
To schedule a community screening, please visit this link.
With the new KLEFF website launched, we’re now ready to accept film submissions for this year’s competition!
Following the format of festivals from years past, we are accepting entries for documentaries, feature films, short films, public service announcements (PSA’s), and animations. Entries in each category stand the chance to win cash, awards, and other prizes if chosen by our panel of judges!
Every year the KLEFF draws fantastic film makers representing worthy causes and we know this year will bring more of the same!
To submit your entry, please visit this link.

The Kuala Lumpur Eco-Film Festival runs on volunteer power and it's time to start generating some energy for this year's event!
There are several ways to help out during the Festival weekend, including usher duties at film screenings, assisting workshop facilitators, set up and take down, and many other essential volunteer roles.
To sign up as a volunteer for this year's festival please visit the official 7th Annual KLEFF website.
EcoKnights, the Malaysian Environmental organization that oversees the KLEFF, also has several other community based awareness projects that could use help from volunteers. If you're interested in helping EcoKnights programs to thrive, please visit their website at http://ecoknights.org.my/ or contact EcoKnights volunteer coordinator, Cale Black, at cale@ecoknights.org.my to sign up today!
The KLEFF would not exist were it not for the help and support of our sponsors and partners. Fortunately, the Festival is able to repay such a debt through wonderful and far reaching advertising and branding opportunities!
Apart from the Festival itself (17-19th Oct 2014), the KLEFF also offers many additional marketing opportunities throughout the year. From the KLEFF Programme Guide (25,000 copies) to our monthly e-newsletter (that goes out to 7,000 ++ names in our database) the KLEFF provides an abundance of arenas in which your brand can be advertised.
To get a better idea of what the KLEFF can do for you and your organization, please click here to view this year's Sponsorship Prospectus. Help us help the environment through your sponsorship and support today!
